Largest Selection of Brass Hardware No minimums Made in our factory Rigorous testing standards
With over 6,300 styles to choose from, hundreds of size options, and several color finishes, we have you covered
Handbag and purse hardware has been our businesses core competency for the past 40 years. From swivel snaps and d-rings to strap buckles and bag feet, we continue to this day in developing and improving all elements of hardware manufacturing. Our factory was built on the strength of bag makers who were in demand of higher quality, solid brass hardware. The desire of our clients to build products of quality and issue commitments to their customers means that we, as suppliers, must do the same. Because if a swivel snap fails, we all fail. And if a bag lasts the test of time, then we all succeed - and that is where we intend to be.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
+ What's the difference between brass and other metals?
When working with handbags, purses, bags, totes, cross-bodies, and other accessories you have to consider the function of the hardware piece. It usually comes down to brass vs zinc hardware, and here are some of the differences. 1) Perhaps the biggest reason why brass is superior to zinc is its durability. Brass is much more malleable than zinc meaning that it can be shaped more easily. Since brass is “stretchier” it is a lot less susceptible to cracking under pressure. So on handbags, suitcases, large bags, and other products that are meant to carry weight, brass will hold up to the challenge. And due to its greater durability, it can take on the wear and tear you put it through over several years, decades, and centuries! On the other hand, you will find zinc hardware on lesser quality products that will break after time due to its inability to hold up to the pressure and its inability to stretch. Think of it like a tree branch. A branch that is alive and well will not snap when bent, while a dead branch that has no life will. 2) Zinc is a highly corrosive metal, while brass is not. Most of our brass hardware is sand cast, a form of production not possible with zinc and more of an art form to do well. Sand casted brass allows you to achieve softer curves and a more 'authentic' feel. 3) Brass is about 15% heavier than zinc.
+ What are the minimums?
1 piece! That's it!
+ Can I make a custom piece of hardware?
+ What are the most common items used on handbags & purses
Well, most of the design decisions will come down to what look you are going for. If you have any sort of strap and you want to be able to remove it, then certainly swivel snaps, which would then attach to a d-ring or an o-ring. If you want to make the straps adjustable I recommend either a double loop slider or a buckle in order to adjust the strap length. To protect the bottom of the bag you can install bag feet/studs. And, depending on the type of item you can install a zipper. For closures on purse flaps I recommend the S-Spring socket snaps or magnetic snaps. Feel free to give us a call if you have more specific questions.
+ What size zippers should I use?
The answer usually lies in the type of piece you are making. For small items like coin pouches or inside pockets on bags I usually recommend the small RIRI Metal 4. On medium sized handbags and purses for the main exterior zipper you certainly want a RIRI Metal 6 or possibly a Metal 8, but I usually recommend a 6. And for larger items that need a zipper to match the bag size, then go for the Metal 8 RIRI Zipper
